Come along for an unforgettable trip to the beautiful scenery of Oulujoki! There will be a day full of exercise, relaxation and wonderful experiences getting to know the history of the river. How are tar, Salmonlords, logs and Aarne Ervi related to the river?
The trip starts with cycling form Montta via Pyhäkoski to the wicket, where we enjoy a small snack and hear stories about the river. After snack we paddle as a group downstream to Pyhäkoski. When leaving, the guide guides you in the paddling technique an ensures that paddling is safe. You enjoy peaceful paddling and admire the scenery.
After paddling, we land to the beach of Pyhäkoski, from where the journey continues along the Lemmenpolku trail back to Montta.
The trip takes place if a minimum of 4 people sign up for the trip.
The last day of registration is 3 days before the excursion.
If you have paid for the excursion and the excursion is cancelled, the payment will be automatically returned to your account if you have paid via Visma Pay. If you have paid with Epass or Smartum, the payment can be refunded from the fees of another activity or rental.
Equipment to need to have
Weather-appropriate casual outdoor clothes, good shoes, a hat and spare dry clothes. A drinking bottle and when the sun is shining a sunscreen. If you wish, you can take a waterproof phone bag with you.

In the case of thunderstorm, paddling is canceled and the return takes place by bike

Departure and return from Montta Active Camping, Kieksintie 209 Muhos. Montta is easily accessible by public transport, buses 40 and 41 from Oulu go directly to the gate.
